Report: Promotion of Women to Partnership Stalled in 2011	Top
New male partners outnumbered new female partners more than two to one this year, according to the latest data from the Project for Attorney Retention, and several large firms didn't promote a single woman to partnership. The number of promotions of women has been falling year over year.
LSAT Hopeful Fails in Bid for Test Accommodations	Top
A college student with learning disabilities who sued the Law School Admission Council last week won't get extra time on the LSAT, a federal court has ruled. Plaintiff Meghan Larywon, diagnosed with ADHD and a "processing speed disorder," had alleged a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
UC Irvine Joins With Chinese University in Business and Law Institute	Top
UC Irvine School of Law will collaborate with a Chinese university to launch the first bilateral U.S.-China center focusing on business and law. The plan calls for the new institute to maintain a presence both in the U.S. and China and to hold leadership summits and an annual conference.
