White & Case Turns to Jones Day for New China Corporate Head	Top
White & Case has hired partner Alex Zhang from Jones Day to lead its China mergers and acquisitions practice in Shanghai. Zhang also replaces partner John Leary as office head. The hire follows that of Hong Kong-based corporate partner Virginia Tam, who moved to White & Case from Jones Day in July.
Law Firms' Latest Office Openings Feature Continental Shift	Top
Greenberg Traurig is establishing a Latin American beachhead by opening a Mexico City office. Bird & Bird has entered into an association with Casablanca law firm El Amari & Associates. Squire Sanders opened a Perth office last month. And North Carolina-based Womble Carlyle is opening an office in Silicon Valley.
