Location: Schertz, TX

Job Details:

Mandatory Skills - 3 years of Supply Chain / Sourcing experience in the procurement of engineered industrial equipment and services.

Highly demanding sourcing role responsible to drive closure to urgent parts and services needs by manufacturing at various locations. Responsibilities include representing sourcing department in production meetings, expediting late deliveries with suppliers, gathering team members as required to clarify issues, resolution, and escalation, placing urgent Purchase Orders for quick delivery, identifying systemic issues to avoid repetition, maintain and communicate performance metric related to shortages, clear and crisp communications with different levels of management at GE and its suppliers. All of the above while adhering to GE's strict compliance guidelines.

Requirements: 
- Bachelor's Degree (in Business or Technical discipline preferred) 
- 3 years of Supply Chain / Sourcing experience in the procurement of engineered industrial equipment and services. 

Desired: 
- Oracle ERP experience, system knowledge 
- Strong communication skills 
- Strong spreadsheets and database management skills.
