Allen & Overy Freezes Associate Salary Rates Top
Allen & Overy has opted not to increase its associate pay levels for the 2011-12 financial year. The firm said that the decision was based on a "flat trading year" in the U.K. market in 2010-11. Under the unchanged salary levels, associate salaries will range from 61,000 pounds to 94,000 pounds.

The University of La Verne College of Law could lose its provisional accreditation from the ABA, based on notice from the ABA's accreditation committee. Law school administrators have not yet been told why, but it likely has to do with the school's bar passage rate, said Dean Allen Easley.
