Looking for UI/ UX (Designer only) Not developer.
The Day to Day
- Lead the user experience design strategy and development of LifeLock.com and landing pages for all device types.
- Create compelling, effective and innovative web experiences that drive successful customer engagement and positively impact business goals.
- Drive the user experience design process for a project, from concept development to wireframes and to high-fidelity mocks
- Work from high-level requirements and ask the right questions to gather all relevant information to guide design direction.
- Solve problems from a user-centered perspective, always stepping back to understand the customer needs and desires and championing the Customer.
- Quickly iterate on multiple visual design explorations to arrive at a simple, but robust solution, accounting for complex requirements.
- Design for current experiences while also envisioning and creating new experiences for future features.
- Leverage Brand Style guides in visual design work to remain consistent across our branded consumer experience.
- Manage user testing and partner with the Market Research team on research
- Partner with the web development team to ensure proper UI implementation
- Lead internal reviews for feature and UI design, art direction and other UX/UI responsibilities. Foster a collaborative environment by partnering with stakeholders and facilitating design decisions to optimize for the user experience while balancing interests within technology, marketing, business, and partners.
- Stay current on emerging visual and experience design trends and broader technologies and identify opportunities to incorporate best current thinking into designs.
Are We a Match
- Bachelors Degree in visual, graphic, industrial, motion, or interaction design, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in visual design for web, mobile, or product.
- Experience in visual design for a consumer, transactional website.
- Ability to scope design initiatives accurately, prioritize and balance project goals and features items appropriately, as well as to meet project deadlines.
- Strong online portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing user-centered, elegant visual design experiences with a preference towards simplification.
- Experience working with Brand Style Guides
- Understanding of how to balance visual design, conversion and funnel analysis, information architecture, and user research points of view in design work.
- Proficiency using Illustrator, Photoshop, Omnigraffle, and more.
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
- Strong grasp of technology underpinning channels spanning mobile (web, iOS, Android), online, and email experiences, so that you can guide the team to solutions that are both elegant and feasible
- A passion for design and innovative ways to approach design.
- Ability to synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders and advocate for design choices.
- Experience working side-by-side with engineers and code, as well as Marketing managers and data, to arrive at the best designs possible for the users, the business goals, and the technical constraints.
- The ability to turn around not just sketches, but well-reasoned mockups quickly, in an iterative environment.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solver, and attention to detail
- Effective collaboration and relationship building skills
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently with a positive attitude
- Results driven and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, on schedule
- Motivated self-starter who can take charge of complex tasks with some direction
- Strong written and oral communication skills; engaged listening skills, and presentation skills
