E-mails Reveal Wrangling in TYLA President-Elect Race Top
On April 26, the Texas Young Lawyers Association told president-elect candidate David Courreges to cease all campaigning. The move came after his opponent, C.E. Ho. But much to the relief of lawyers and clients alike, that's no longer the case. In Texas, appeals are authorized only from final orders or judgments unless an interlocutory appeal expressly is permitted by statute.
