Position Title: Data Modeler
Duration: 4+ months
Location: Woonsocket, RI
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Working on multiple projects in a LAMP environment, building out schema. Enforcing best database best practices and communicating with developers and PM's/BA's to understand the business needs. Creating database based upon what is requested, understand why a database is structured a certain way, interface with BA's and developers.
What are the top 3 MUST HAVE technologies of the position?
1. Data Modeling
2. MySQL
3. Basic Linux knowledge
NICE TO HAVES (OR WHAT GETS THE WIN)?
1. KVM Hypervisor (program that allows multiple operating systems to share a single hardware host)
2. SLES operating system
3. MariaDB
