Title: Sr Test Engineer
Description: The successful Test Engineer must have 6 years minimum of hands on experience in developing test cases, executing tests and interpreting the results. An airline background is required with specific in-depth knowledge of reservations, ticketing, and revenue accounting. In particular hands on experience within Client Air Lines is a plus. This person must work with the highest levels of integrity and honesty. Clear, concise and timely communications, in verbal and documented formats, is a must to all roles including Developers, Business Analyst, Project Managers and Managers. Must be someone that can learn quickly and work diligently in a very complex environment. Must be able and willing to work to meet timelines as required by various projects. The Test Engineer must have an expert level of knowledge on MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Familiarity with Quality Center is a plus.
Responsibilities:
The Test Engineer will be expected to understand the requirements of the project so as to create and maintain the appropriate test artifacts in Quality Center. Will be required to complete traceability matrix to map test cases to requirements. Set up the test cases, execute them, and perform analysis on the results to determine success or failure. Will be expected to log the results and in the event of a failure to open and track defects to resolution. The Test Engineer will need to create data to work with and be able to examine results in hex string, data table and GUI formats.
