| TiVo Inc. has reached a $500 million settlement agreement with Dish Network Corp. and EchoStar Corp., effectively ending the companies' seven-year legal dispute over digital video recording patents. TiVo has been involved in patent litigation over its DVR technology for years. The company first sued Dish and EchoStar in 2004 in the Eastern District of Texas for infringing on patents tied to its Time Warp DVR technology. | |
