The Law Firm and Corporate 'Anthem' Collection: Build It for the Children |
Above the Law wrote today about law firm Nixon Peabody, and mischievously included a link to a firm anthem (for lack of a better word) that the law firm clearly put some effort into creating in 2007 before apparently realizing that it was going to haunt them forever. You can read the ATL account of how Nixon Peabody unsuccessfully tried to get this over-the-top R&B genie back in the bottle here. Nowadays, of course, law firms and companies have their own "Social Media Specialists" and are more Internet savvy and wise to the risks of having a wedding band record an original song (with accompanying video) extolling their virtues. That has not always been the case, though, and I feel that someone should memorialize this bygone era when law firms and auditors were making cringe-worthy music and videos with some regularity. Indeed, I propose that this post become a repository for all known law firm and corporate anthems, for the benefit of future generations. Here are three to get us started: 1.
