| Discipline Report: Lawyer Disbarred, Another Resigns |
| A McLennan County lawyer has been disbarred, and another lawyer has resigned in lieu of discipline, the State Bar of Texas reported recently. In the case of the McLennan County lawyer, the State Bar cited alleged violation of disciplinary rules requiring a lawyer to hold funds belonging to clients or third persons separate from the lawyer's own property. The judgment also cited the rule requiring a lawyer to keep a client informed about the status of a matter and to comply with requests for information. |
